Jennifer Lopez Ups the Drama With a 20-Foot Train on ‘The Tonight Show’

Trainspotting! To perform the powerful benefit track "Love Make the World Go Round" on The Tonight Show on Tuesday, July 12, Jennifer Lopez knew only the most epic of ensembles would do: a bedazzled-bustier-and-pants combo, topped by a 20-foot train.

The former American Idol judge, 46, belted out the song (alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda) wearing the shimmering, superhero-worthy accessory, custom-made by Michael Cinco. The piece featured stained glass–inspired panels of swirling color covered with 10,000 Swarovski crystals. And, according to a release from the house, it took a solid six months to complete!

The multihyphenate also modeled a custom pair of crystallized leggings by Death by Dolls. Meanwhile, Miranda, 36, fresh off his final performance in the Broadway juggernaut Hamilton, decide to go understated. He donned a T-shirt, jeans and a baseball cap.

Lopez and Miranda — Lopez has dubbed them #JLin on social media — performed a slowed-down rendition of the single backed by the house band, the Roots. Once Tony winner Miranda joined in for his rap verse, the "Booty" singer lost the cape and turned up the speed.

As previously reported, the pair’s song is a tribute to the victims of the Orlando nightclub massacre, and sales of the single will raise funds for the Hispanic Federation's Proyecto Somos Orlando initiative, which pledges to raise money for culturally competent and bilingual mental health services.

The talented pair gave the first performance of their charity single on Monday, July 11, during the Today show in NYC, where Lopez wore a fancy white lace bra — and little else!
